Project: Cisco Systems

The banner and portal idea emerged while working at Cisco. Our team needed a consistent way to communicate to our audience and also wanted to simplify the way we directed partners to valuable information. I created the program outside of my regular job scope at Cisco mostly during my free time. 

Project: Tony Reali Mobile Mechanic


Tony Reali is a certified mechanic operating in the Raleigh/Durham area. He needed a way to easily let customers see his schedule and set an appointment. Using Google Apps we designed a calendar that allows Tony to update it easily and allows customers to submit a request for appointment based upon his availability. Next we linked the tool to his text messaging so he now gets a message on his phone.

Email Banner & Portal Program

The Email Banner & Portal Program uses the email banner as a uniquely viral, consistent communication portal into your custom site. Perfect for professional services and sales organizations, non-profits, entrepreneurs, brand builders and the like. We custom build this banner to suit your organization, roll it out to each individual (with custom picture) & instruct the users on how to integrate with their email client,  build their back-end portals, and train them on how to customize and use the services offered by Google's Apps.
 

 
This banner was created for the Virtual Channel Account Manager Role at Cisco Systems. The banner has been deployed to over 60 users with hundreds of more requests. This was an independent project created outside the scope of regular business but was quickly adopted as a best practice. Webex Sales Center is used for the backend portal since Cisco owns Webex.
 

 


This banner was created for Tony Reali Mobile Mechanic in Raleigh NC. Tony uses the shared calendaring and online booking reservation feature to simplify scheduling appointments with his clients. A potential client can see his schedule availability and submit a request for service. Tony receives an SMS message on his mobile phone letting him know a new client is requesting his service. He accesses the details over the web on his handheld device. If the service request is urgent he is able to get back to the customer within minutes.
 
 


Marley's Cat Tales is a non-profit animal rescue organization who is dedicated to finding homes for stray and abandoned animals, providing education on responsible pet ownership and the importance of trap-neuter-release actions. They partner with other rescue groups to help change the world one pet at a time. The portal site allows individual volunteers to communicate common materials to their adopters and allows them to build a personalized, custom site where they can discuss their activities and show off their own pets!
